Le Petit Déjeuner - The phrase I remember from the first day in Paris :) I alwasy knew déjeuner means lunch but I didnt know that breakfast literally sounds like 'the little lunch' hehe cute!

So when I visited Cat last autumn *gasps!*, we had a short (girlie) getaway trip to Paris! (sorry Rik! and Pim!) We had to wake up early but no complains - at least we didn't have to cancel our trip, for more info please refer to Black Friday in Amsterdam hahaha

Took the not-so-cheap train to Paris Ga Du Nord. The 3-hour plus journey felt longer than I expected, maybe because we didn't really see any nice scenery throughout the whole journey *feeling cheated.

A photo to commemorate the start of our journey, taken by a pair of very cute (not in the 'hot' term..)...wait for it... Indian guys, again!

I don't know why but we were feeling rather 'adventurous' and 'confident' so instead of taking the public transport, we ended up walking all the way to our hotel, yup, with our very hand-carry luggages.

A few wrong turnings later, we finally checked into our hotel! And the first thing we did after that is to pacify our growling tummies!
While taking posey photos that is nyehehe

We were sort of exhausted from the travelling so we opted for something familiar, here's my cheeseburger with Coke Light which made the waiter raised his eyebrow and asked again "Cheeseburger?" He was probably thought my choice of food is too American for an Asian girl haha

Cat has been to Paris several times before this so I decided to let her take charge of my travel plans *ahem

So while she was busy showing me to all the famous places..(picture taken by Indian again btw)

I was busy conceptualising lame photo shoots.. *ahem. Say Yes to team work! hehe

Like, serious conceptualising *cough cough*

I'm not selfish! Cat and her favourite clock tower! hehe

Hmm, still can't believe I've been to Paris already!

Then we arrived at Jardin sth sth (Cat will fill in the blanks :P ), there were so many people there waiting to get sunburnt!

We decided to get sunburnt as well join the crowd, spend some time chilling by the lake but first we must get something sweet!

Bought our crepes from Grumpy Face.

Went for the chocolate one and felt really disgusting afterwards. Not the best thing to have under the hot sun -_-

The little girl that annoyed me because she kept throwing sands into the lake, and she was right next to me. Sandy Chocolate Crepe? No thanks. But I like what she's wearing ahhaha

Love the transition of seasons! One side of the trees turned yellow while the other remained green!

We strolled all the way to Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe area. This is where a couple asked us to take a photo for them, and then we realised they were the same couple who took photo for us earlier on! (and the gf is an Indian....)

Little ants with Giant Arc. There was some sort of ceremony that day and a group of people in uniforms marched all the way from Champs-Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe. Please tell me this is a rare sight so I can feel a lil more special hehe.

Ok here comes the highlight of our trip!! A trip to Paris is not complete without a visit to La Tour Eiffel, but no, this is not the highlight! (not 100%). but I quite like this photo of La Tour Eiffel that I took, love the color contrast of the tower and sky!

Notice something different? Yea okay, besides me (-_- ; ) Those two lil boxes in my hand!!!

On our way to La Tour Eiffel, we chanced upon this bakery and we couldn't resist its sweet temptation...so we both came out of the bakery with a cake in our hands. (btw Cat got that Tartelette Chocolat, urgggh I wanna try it!!)

which explains the boxes in all our photos after that hehehe. We actually went back to the La Tour Eiffel for something special!!

The food portion was really big though, at least for us.

And it comes with hot and friendly waitress, what more can you ask for hehe.

Err, because I look quite nice in this blurry pic hehe.

By the way this explains why my face is so red in the rest of the photos.

I don't think Alcoholic Cat was tipsy, heck I think she can finish the whole bottle by herself :P Hmm I think she's all smiley because she's laughing at me HMMM OR MAYBE, she was smiley because we had to use BM to discuss about the French family sitting extremely close to us and I said "ALANGKAH BAIKNYA"

After dinner, it was an uncomfortable walk back to La Tour Eiffel because I could hardly button my trench coat (T__T)

So apparently La Tour Eiffel will go blink blink every hour!! Never knew that!!!! It was really pretty! Too bad we didn't find a nice place to sit and watch! And if only it wasn't SO cold...
It wasn't easy to take photos when you're kinda tipsy. But I remember the Russian bodyguard-ish hubby who blocked all passerby from getting into our photo when his wife was taking this pic for us hehe

Because all my photos look like this - scary face (-_- ; ) this is why I hate flash , struggling to make my eyes stay open (-_- ; ) Oh and something really tragic happened while we were at it (T__T) I DROPPED one of the boxes!! We didn't know which one I dropped and I think both of us were secretly praying: hope it's not mine.... I shall reveal the victim next time because I really need to use the loo right now (-_- ; )

Desperately wanted a photo with the blink blink La Tour Eiffel (-_- ; )
