This thing called 'emptiness'

My social life has been pretty active for the past few months. I did so many things that normally the anti-social me wouldn't, or would be too lazy to do. For instance,
I attended a dog's birthday bash at the beach. (never liked chihuahua but this fellow is an exception! Looks like a giant mouse sometimes tho.)
Attended another birthday bash, but this time, for human.
Yet another birthday bash...but she's not the birthday boy, obviously. And i think I've only met him once prior to the birthday party? BIG STEP! *gasps
Oh this was also the night I learnt that it is consider impolite in German culture to not look into people's eyes when you toast. Oh and that the drink "Lamborghini" is an Asian (if not Singaporean?) thing. Actually on second thought, it does sound+look quite Ah beng-ish.
Accepted an impromptu invitation to a concert...I didn't even know whose concert was it before I arrived haha
Attended at least 3 takoyaki parties...where we gathered together and make takoyaki haha. Quite fun actually. And this is the first batch so they don't look so good....
They made okonomiyaki too, yummy yums!
On an somewhat unrelated note, I've discovered my impressive talent in Jenga.
Splurge on a Sunday brunch (50bucks!! but it comes with sparkling wine...*consoles self) at this new cafe that turned out to be really near to my house!
Accepted all dinner invitations *ahem.
which means I drink a lot more now but I still don't hold my liquor well  (-_- ; )
Attended a few farewells... but some are for people whom I am not really close to *big step.
Stayed in Marina Bay Sands Suite for the weekend.
We were lucky because they were having rehearsals for the National Day Parade and being Singaporean, they are so kiasu that they do fireworks rehearsal every.single.Saturday. Can they stop wasting my hard-earned tax money?
On a side note, I learnt how to 'float'. haha
I even said okay to a cycling outing! I haven't cycled for at least 15 years! (no the experience Rotterdam doesn't count -_-  failed.com) Actually I did pretty well this time! *proud. But my butts kinda hurt............... (-__________- ; )
That said, i quite enjoyed it! (the cycling not the painful butt -.- )
Okay, I think I've proven my point that I am quite active! But why do I still feel 'empty'? Cat says I need "love", what do you think? nyehehe
Considered doing some volunteer work, even did my research but they normally need someone who can help regularly. Obviously with my current job nature I can't commint *sigh.
And as usual my post is going to end abruptly because I gtg soon. One last update, I did my hair! Can you tell the difference? hahah It's 'shorter', I added more volume and I changed my color! Oh and my hair stylist is pretty cute but he accused me for being cold at the beginning (-_- ; ) kthxbai

2 person bothered to comment:

  1. I can't believe the silly govt literally burnt all that money on fireworks rehearsals. GEEZ.

Now you can come here next year and rent a bike!

  2. Yea I know the govt is rich but there are better ways to spend the money, like providing free meds for the poor, etc.

I realised I didnt lose my 'mojo' for biking lol but!!! it's diff from the ones in NL! I can't even climb onto the ones in NL and the reverse brake is scarrrrrry :P
